These describe how treatment services are delivered. People may move between levels of care depending on their needs during treatment and recovery.

Detoxification (Detox)

Short-term medical supervision that helps people safely manage withdrawal symptoms from alcohol or drugs. Detox is usually the first step and is not a stand-alone treatment.

Outpatient Treatment

Structured therapy sessions provided while individuals live at home, allowing them to continue work, school, and family responsibilities.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

A higher level of outpatient care that includes multiple therapy sessions per week and more structured support.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

A day-treatment level of care that provides intensive clinical services during the day while individuals return home in the evenings.

Residential / Inpatient Treatment

A 24-hour live-in treatment setting that provides intensive therapy, structure, and support in a substance-free environment.

Therapeutic Community (TC)

A long-term residential treatment model where residents and staff work together to promote behavioral change, accountability, and recovery through structured community living.

Telehealth

Treatment and therapy delivered remotely through secure technology, allowing appointments by phone, tablet, or computer.

Alumni Programs

Ongoing support, meetings, and recovery activities for individuals who have completed a treatment program.
